BBC Breakfast viewers have bemoaned the show's 'slow' news day as it presented coverage from a 'boring' pub. Saturday's programme saw presenters Naga Munchetty and Roger Johnson cross over to reporter Oli Constable where he fronted a segment about a community pub. The early morning item saw Oli at The Ickleford Lion, in Saffron Walden, which he told had been saved from closure by local residents who, along with overseas shareholders, had raised £440,000 for the venue.
