Tyler Perry blasted 'greedy' insurance companies for not renewing tens of thousands of policies for homeowners in the months leading up to the devastating LA wildfires. The 55-year-old Madea star found it 'gut-wrenching' to watch an ER nurse hosing down her parents' house in Hastings Ranch last Tuesday in the Eaton Fire while lamenting to ABC7 News how their fire insurance 'just got canceled' after 75 years. 'Does anyone else find it appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?
