The 60-year-old presenter has been waging a public war against the guardianship, which she claims is so restrictive she feels 'like I am in prison.' In a dramatic new development last Wednesday, Coterie - the center where she lives - filed a report with the NYPD claiming that Williams' niece Alex Finnie evaded staff by taking the TV star out of the building to eat out at an Italian restaurant.
